Round 8 of the Rockstar Energy Drink Motocross Nationals, held at Riverglade MX Park in Moncton, NB on Sunday under sunny skies and a temperature that reached 25°C (77°F), saw Matt Goerke record his second consecutive MX1 second overall finish. The Rockstar Energy OTSFF Yamaha rider’s teammate, Tim Tremblay, finished the day by sealing the top ten with tenth overall.

With a second overall, Rockstar Energy OTSFF Yamaha’s Matt Goerke strengthened his hold on first place in the MX1 points chase on Sunday at Round 7 of the Rockstar Energy Drink Motocross Nationals, which were held at Pleasant Valley Motocross Park in Truro, NS. His teammate, Tim Tremblay, recorded an eighth overall, which currently keeps him in a solid eighth place on the title hunt scoreboard.

​Round 5 of the Rockstar Energy Drink Motocross Nationals kicked off the eastern leg of the series on Sunday in Courtland, ON at Gopher Dunes, considered the toughest and gnarliest track in Canada. While the MX1 and MX2 contenders were spared the usual hot and muggy Southern Ontario summer weather, which reached a high of only 25°C (77°F), Gopher Dunes more than lived up to its reputation. In fact, it proved to be more unforgiving than any previous nationals held on it, with riders succumbing to the deep sand all afternoon.
